The title of the surrealist image is from the song “Hans im Glück”. The picture was painted especially for the Singulart Prize 2025 “Deeply Human” and is in three parts:

The colorful left side describes the rich but superficial Hans. Shown in the middle in black and white is his current double standard update. Who knows what tomorrow will bring, so the right side was left white. It is intended to invite the viewer to create their own update and to reflect on whether they themselves often act with double standards. Everything is human and the subconscious is full of images.
